Another reactionary terror attack! At least they only kill Confederates.

Don’t bother sending us any more airplane suicide bombers, Osama Bin Laden, American Reactionaries are just dying to kill us themselves – case in point, an anti-tax wing-nut just Kamikaze’d his private plane into an IRS building in Texas.  You can read his twisted rantings here if you want to go to the trouble – it’s nothing you wouldn’t find on any other stupid wing-nut blog.

One thing I don’t understand – the guy was so anti-tax that he was driven to kill himself and various random bureaucrats – but he had his own private plane for fucks’ sake!  I can’t afford a fucking private plane!  We didn’t tax him enough! Texas doesn’t even have a state income tax for Christ’s sake!

Happy to see this reactionary terrorist convicted of murder, but unclear why he doesn’t get the death penalty – they still have that in Kansas, don’t they?  I’m normally opposed, but my litmus test is – would I volunteer to execute?  Hand me the syringe!

Remember Shrubya’s infamous “free speech” zones that he used to isolate protestors sometimes miles from where he might be speaking…all in the name of “security?”

In these days of mounting wrong-wing rage, featuring shouting lunatics in disrupting town hall meetings and outside overly armed nut jobs prowl around Presidential appearances waiting for some provokation to empty their magazines on their fellow Americans.

Forget “free speech” zones, the very thought has become horribly quaint – I propose that we establish “free fire” zones where the rageoids can be free to open fire. ESPN could even create a special channel to broadcast the wingnut on wingnut action while the rest of us can go on quietly and respectfully debating the important issues of the day.

I’ve been warning for some time about the rising levels of wrong-wing hate, and how that hate is again turning to either outright violence, preparing for violence or just simple hate-mongering and hate-speech that can incite others to violence.  Now others are noticing a dramatic resurgence of militia activity that is

Did you catch the news about the wing-nut who brought and dropped a gun at a political meeting?  I mean I know the reactionaries are crazy and stupid, but do they really believe the Libruhls are gonna attack their crazy tea-bag parties and protests?  Don’t they realize that we aren’t armed?

Back in the Clinton era my own life was threatened by some wing-nut because I had posted a tongue-in-cheek website parodying the ‘black helicoper’ crowd (the main reason why I remain anonymous on this site).  Bad as the Bush years were, the wing-nuts seemed to calm down in spite of the volume and stridency of the reactionary media hate speakers like Billo the Clown and Ann Coulter.

However the massive rejection of the Repugs at the polls and the election of a centrist President seems to have thrown them back into a frenzy that if anything seems even nastier and scarier than before.  Living in San Francisco as I do I rarely encounter reactionaries, but today I was having a conversation with a self-described “moderate” from the South who went on at length about Obama’s Socialist agenda for health care and financial services, and railed about the swelling deficit – a guy who never squawked once about how Shrubya threw Clinton’s balanced budget to the wind and drove up the deficit like a two-bit lobbyist with a federal credit card.

I guess one of the downsides of the end of the “War on Terror” is that the reactionary talking heads have turned the other half of their hate rhetoric, formerly targeted at the Islamic world, at us Libruhls, again firing at us figuratively and literally with ‘both barrels.’

*Update* Bill Clinton better worry if he plans to participate in the contentious health care ‘town hall’ meetings - wing-nuts might use this guy’s technique to conceal an assassination weapon.

The attack on the Holocaust museum wasn’t an act of right-wing terrorism because racism isn’t really a “conservative” thing.

The wrong-wingers wax purple with their hyperbolic condemnation of all Liberalism and Liberals.  We are ‘traitors,’ the ‘enemy in our midst,’ blah blah blah.

To be honest, I’m starting to long wistfully for the days when the Dung Eaters where happy to condemn us in books, columns and talking head shows, rather than terrorize and murder us!

Hot on the heels of murdering an abortion doctor during church service, another wing-nut just shot up the Holocaust Museum in D.C.

Back in the Dawn of Shrubya’s Reign of Error, I mused about the ebbing of wing-nut terror tactics.  Well it’s a new day, with a real leader in office – and the wing-nuts are apparently feeling threatened.  Given the level of the hate speech at the Palin rallies prior to the election, I figured we’d be looking at a resurgence of wrong-wing terror – sadly, it seems to be coming to pass.

What’s the profile of a terrorist likely to strike in America’s heartland?  If you say a swarthy, middle-eastern guy in a turban, you’ve been watching too much Faux News!  How about:

“…a white male in his 50′s or 60′s with grey hair that is balding in the middle. He is about 6’1″ and about 220 pounds and was wearing a white shirt and dark pants.”

Man that sounds just like the profile of an American wrong-winger, and surprisingly like a stereotypical serial killer.

Joining in the ranks of Eric Rudolph, Timothy McVeigh and the Anthrax Letter guy, the suspect of today’s murder of an abortion doctor has been apprehended, identity still unreleased.

Don’t be fooled, folks – these pudgy, aging wrong-wing haters aren’t buying guns because they are afraid Obama and the Dems are going to enact gun control legislation, they are buying guns to terrorize the rest of us!

*Update* Evil has a name, Scott Roeder, and apparently he was pretty open about his extremist wrong-wing views and was: a member of the nasty ‘Freemen’ group, once convicted for making explosives, and  one of those guys who went to various anti-abortion events and said obliquely menacing things in a monotone.

During the Clinton era, between 1994-2000 there were 6 abortion providers and clinic staff murdered, and 17 attempted murders of abortion providers. There were 12 bombings or arsons during the Clinton years.

During the Bush administration, not only were there no murders, there were no attempted murders. There was one clinic bombing during the Bush years.

Our trans-Atlantic cousins just published a list of extremist bastards that are banned from their country – and it includes several wing-nut U.S. ‘personalities’ such as Michael Weiner.  Keep in mind even a potentially rabid dog can enter the UK after 6 months of quarantine!

Of course it’s hard to get too embarrassed – after all, the UK harbors that one-eyed, one-armed Islamic looney, Abu Hamza al-Masri, for whom every day is ‘talk like a pirate day’ and recently harbored the other looney Omar Bakri Mohammed who called for jihad against the government that supported him on the dole.

We really need to kidnap some of these guys, take them to an undisclosed location, and have them do some extreme cage fighting – it would be interesting to see which of them could actually practice what they preach, and which would soil themselves in fear.

Interesting factoid – Omar Bakri’s daughter is waging her own personal jihad against the immoral infidel club-goers of London as a topless pole-dancer!  Allahuakbar!

The reactionaries haven’t yet lost this election but they are already acting like poor losers.  McCain rallies are becoming increasingly ugly as proto-brown shirts are increasingly calling for Obama’s blood:

Events this week have been marked by ugly outbursts from crowds. In Clearwater, Florida, shouts of “kill him!” could be heard amid a chorus of boos when Mrs Palin attacked the Democratic nominee over his links with 1960s radical, Bill Ayers.

Journalists were reported to have been taunted with obscenities or racial insults from members of audience when Mrs Palin blamed the “mainstream media” for what she described as her “less-than-successful” – and much-parodied – television interviews.

At a rally on Monday in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mr McCain asked: “Who is the real Barack Obama?” A man in crowd screamed back the reply: “Terrorist!”

Among the wrong-wing is a really nasty core of folks who want anything but democracy.  These are the real ‘Bush Base.’  Case in point, I was wandering around the brownshirtosphere yesterday and blundered into a site called Stop The ACLU.  What a bizarre jihad!  What don’t they like – “American” or “Civil Liberties?”

I thought the reactionaries wanted to take us back to the 1890s, but these wackos want to recreate some sort of weird Puritan world where only a few like-minded individuals have rights and the rest of us be damned.  Worse, they’d be happy to sacrifice many of their own rights and replace our republic with a third-world style ‘strong man’ as long as said tyrant was willing to take away more of the rights of others.

Poor losers that they are, we can’t forget that they are armed.  Don’t expect these bastards to take their looming defeat with grace (as we all did when Gore conceded a stolen victory to Shrubya) – I fully expect the more excitable of their members to try to kill Obama.

And for the more gutless among them, I imagine that the venom and bile they will dish out for Obama will be 100x worse than they dished at the Clintons.

I have a hard time looking at their websites as it is – they flat out call us progressives ‘the enemy within’ in their very post categories!  You want to see the face of terror, go to one of these McCain rallies – if they let you in!

Something about a successful Dem presidential candidate seems to bring the American fundee gun-nuts out of the woodwork – meet Jerry Blanchard, the latest wrong-wing terrorist:

Blanchard allegedly told two diners at a restaurant July 15 he planned to kill Obama with a rifle. He allegedly made a similar threat at a Crowne Plaza Hotel July 28.

The newspaper reported Blanchard has referred to Obama as the Antichrist and said, “If he gets elected, we have a problem.”

God help us all if one of these nuts get through…
