People warned that Terry Jones and his Fundee followers that burning the Quran would spark violent retribution in Afghanistan, putting various folks at risk.  Unapologetic, Jones must figure ‘no publicity is bad publicity for his “Dove World Outreach Center.”  I guess ‘World Outreach’ in his parlance must include an extended and rigid middle-finger pointed not only at non-Fundees around the world, but also at our own government and military, as well as the folks who struggle to make the world a better place working in harm’s way at the U.N. and various NGOs.

Although our people and elected leaders seem increasingly unclear on the concept of the separation of church and state, Shrubya wasn’t able to fully compromise the system (beyond SCOTUS anyway) with Baylor University graduates. I suspect the courts will make short work of Oklahoma’s crazy Muslim-baiting ballot measure.

Wasn’t it just a couple of years ago when the Reactionaries were screaming about how Obama was being controlled by his anti-American pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright?  How then can their tiny brains accept a contradictory theory, that Obama is a Muslim? This can’t be explained by stupidity alone, I theorize that the Reactionary Brain also suffers an extreme deficit in mid- and long-term memory.

I don’t know if I wrote about it when he became pontiff (and our relevant archives have, sadly, not yet been restored), but the first moment I saw pictures of Pope Ratz I thought to myself, “He looks like the perfect stereotype of a movie villain who’s getting away with some evil scheme.”

Now I know why.  Though my gut hunch can’t top that of Michael Signorile:

Our trans-Atlantic cousins just published a list of extremist bastards that are banned from their country – and it includes several wing-nut U.S. ‘personalities’ such as Michael Weiner.  Keep in mind even a potentially rabid dog can enter the UK after 6 months of quarantine!

Of course it’s hard to get too embarrassed – after all, the UK harbors that one-eyed, one-armed Islamic looney, Abu Hamza al-Masri, for whom every day is ‘talk like a pirate day’ and recently harbored the other looney Omar Bakri Mohammed who called for jihad against the government that supported him on the dole.

We really need to kidnap some of these guys, take them to an undisclosed location, and have them do some extreme cage fighting – it would be interesting to see which of them could actually practice what they preach, and which would soil themselves in fear.

Interesting factoid – Omar Bakri’s daughter is waging her own personal jihad against the immoral infidel club-goers of London as a topless pole-dancer!  Allahuakbar!
