Oh, I don’t know, there could be a silver lining. I just read a story that referred to the ‘globalization’ of American elections, with multinationals being able to pour unlimited funds into the process. And what was the most terrifying prospect imagined by the writer of this story? Hugo Chavez and Citgo getting behind a slate of candidates! Sounds like change I could believe in!

As long as the SCOTUS has found that corporations are people and money is speech, what’s to stop them from outlawing the Democratic party? OR
setting aside the results of the last presidential election and installing McCain as President?

If corporations are people, I want to be Victoria’s Secret. No more aging, dieting and exercise, and I’ll have angel wings, too.

    I LIKE this new democracy!
