It truly would be fantastic.  Just think:  A chance for the United States of America to celebrate unwed teenage pregnancy and old-fashioned shotgun weddings.  Traditional family values, Republican (meaning  American) style.  And it would take our minds off of Iraq, Afghanistan, debt, bailouts, energy, and health care.  We worry too much about that sort of stuff, anyway.  And don&#039;t forget, John McCain was a POW.
 
Hey, speaking of shutting down the race, wonder if they will invite Barack and Michelle?  That would put him in a difficult position, wouldn&#039;t it?  He could keep campaigning and look like a snob, or go and waste valuable time.  Of course, he could regain some momentum by portraying his trip to Alaska as giving him foreign policy experience -- he will be close to Russia, after all.  Considering his dilemma from all sides, I think he will probably go.
