It was appalling. What was he doing at a noisy, light-filled convention at that hour, except to fuel his mom's overweening ambition? Palin is a lousy mom, who gives working mothers a bad name. Every working mom worth her salt struggles with the demands of career and motherhood. The good ones are truly torn. At a time when her family really needs her -- and don't give me crap about her husband taking care of the kids and she'll have a support system and blah, blah, blah -- Palin has sacrificed the well-being of her family to take on the second-highest office in the land.
