In case you forget…
…we’re still living in a goddamned police state. The Repugs send in the goons to arrest protesters in advance of the Greedy Old Pigs Convention in Minneapolis.
One thing I really wanted to hear Obama say (but didn’t) was “When I am elected, there will be no ‘free speech zone’ – because the entire country is a free speech zone!” I don’t expect him to continue the Imperial Presidency – the fact that he had an open forum for his nomination acceptance speech (and especially didn’t require ‘loyalty oaths‘ from attendees!) is a pretty sign of ‘change’ – but it would have been a good idea to leave no doubt in the minds of the ‘undecided’ voters and again underscore that a McCain Presidency would be a McBush Presidency complete with goons.

Thanks for the reality check! I had forgotten that folks had to sign “loyalty oaths” to attend GOP functions! I will be glad to see the goons retire!

In case you forget, it was Ronald Rrrraaaayyyyggggguuunnnn who convinced the U.S. proletariat that the Republican Party “cared” about them.
