Right on the heels of the latest Colorado shooting tragedy, GOP Dumbass Louie Gohmert declares that the ‘War on Christians’ was behind the shooting…and then moves on to ‘blame the victims’ for not having packed guns to defend themselves against the kevlar-wearing killer.

I wasn’t able to find Jesus’ exhortation to pack heat in the normal gospels, so I can only assume that Gohmert must be referring to a reference from the apocryphal “Paul’s Letters to the Vigilantes.”

*Update 7-25-12* According to Jeebus freak Bryan Fischer, James Holmes slaughtered the innocents because he learned about evolution in schools.  Good thing he didn’t take a physics course!
