Step down, Nancy
If there is one thing politicians should have learned from the Damnpeachment of Clinton, it’s that you’re better just admitting something and asking for forgiveness, rather than denying the obvious then continuously changing your story with ever finer parsing of words like “is.”
Nancy Pelosi, please step aside and let somebody more competent assume the Speaker of the House position – preferably somebody who wasn’t a Quisling Democrat during the reign of King George the Witless.
*Update 6/3/09* Turns out there is more to the story – maybe even some credence to Nancy’s claims that she was misled. Turns out Dick Cheney led all these Congressional intelligence briefings, even those on torture techniques. Forget the Truth Commission, it’s time for Congress to subpoena his ass and start grilling him…pronto!

You may have guessed I’m not a fan of the Quisling Dem leaders, I’m really sorry that both Pelosi and Reid have keep their ‘Leadership’ positions in spite of ‘going along to get along’ with the Repugs for the last 8 years.

Oh, I agree, I am sick of the Spineless Dems.
That being said, I am much sicker of Reid than I am of Pelosi, because he’s an awful lot worse.
I’m not saying change horses, I’m don’t change horses when you are under attack this way.
I’d love to see a fighting liberal replace Mrs. “Not on the Table,” (Chimpeachment) but not if it looks like a capitulation to the ‘Phants.
First order of business for the Dems is to go Jim Malone on the Republicans, “They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That’s* the *Chicago* way!”

Reid is much worse. Its not just his poor performance that really sux its just his incompetence.
