Salam Pax is blogging again from Baghdad
Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Salam Pax — the legendary blogger who posted from Iraq before and during the U.S. invasion, as well as afterward — has returned to Baghdad after a lengthy absence and resumed blogging.
Even better, his new blog includes posts migrated from his previous sites, dating all the way back to December 2002. What a concept, eh?

Swopa, it is a good concept! If you remember, I have a potential solution, was just waiting for you to provide me with your part of the budget!
Don’t wait too long, not sure how long the resource will be floating out there.

I okayed it the first time you brought it up… are you going to get a cost estimate, or will they just take whatever we’re willing to pay?

I wanted to know our budget

That sounds like a worrisome business model.
“How much do you have available?” (pause) “I’ll take it.”
If you asked for the bill at a restaurant and they said, “How much do you have?”… what would be your reaction?

Haha, give me a call, we can discuss it.
