   What Mr. Obama keeps under his stiff upper lip is how he will deal in one stroke with the mess the Bush Administration left him. How does a nation that poisoned itself with its own “toxic assets” continue to intimidate Muslims with its “anti-terror” Crusades? All this has a ring of historic familiarity and we know how the last Crusades ended. Given what some Zionist extremist in the Upper West Side of Manhatten would have us believe, the First Crusades by now ended in “Eurabia”– per them, victim of its inherent anti-Semitism (sic!) causing it to submit to Arab invasion. Yet, all the neocons have used a big chunk of their ill-begotten gains as influence peddlers for the war toys (real ones) industry to buy villas all over Europe, where they wine, dine and google-eye the girls while writing their “World War IV” Crusades against Islam propaganda for their Pravda like media. It is in this light that Sistani had to ask himself: how do I assure Shia dominance of one united and whole Iraq without the Iranians or the Saudi-supported Sunnis taking over? At his age and with several stents in his coronaries, this is a hard problem to lift. I’ve been arguing with Reidar Visser as to whether students of politics should take medicine into consideration; afterall, even Mullahs get atheroscerosis!

   Where the recent local elections take Iraq is hard to tell because no one knows who will rule ISCI and the Badr Coprs now that another Mullah, Hakim, is dying of bowell cancer. We really don’t know where he is in the evolution of that unrelenting disease. Maliki– a real Iraqi naionalist, like Sistani– made a short term bargain with the Tehran Devil Hakim to provide the Badr Corps forces so he could take-over Basra before the Americans do. As a result, he threw Sadr (another Iraq nationalist)off the other side of the see-saw, right into the hands of Iran. Now Iran is using Sadr to ballance Hakim and Hakim to ballance Maliki. Unwittingly, Bush did what he started out to do: give Iraq to Iran, without getting any of the other side of the equasion he had bargaibed way back in 2002: Iran drops its nuclear technology scheme, normalizes relations with the US and both Iran and Iraq cease their petro-dollars conversion inot Euros. Now the Middle East is like a cancer ward. Everyone knows his dying, but no one knows when any of them will die. Worst still, Iraqis, like Iranians, are getting a state for the material here-and-now instead of seeking the glory of Sharia and martyrdom. There is a definite “Islam-fatigue” in the region. Alas, Israel has shown a Bush-it mentality of kill all and then negotiate. It never realized the power of hate over greed because Israel has lived as a fetus off an engorged American $$$placenta for 60 years. Though the Israel Lobby is seen as a miracles making prophet, it is hard to imagine that it will be able to quietly squeeze $14 billions out of a totally-broke america that every day faces more bad news about the economists’ underestimation of our economic crisis. So it may well be that Sistani is forced by the streess on his stents to lay low and see if a sense of nationhood can be generated by recent and up-coming elections. What is not generally known– despite the extention of his troops withdrawal announcement (from 16 to 19 months)– is that Obam is not going to allow the neocons’ “World War IV” anti-Islamic Crusade to become “Obama’s War” so that , when the fraudulent “surge” is exposed, it will be blamed on what he did AFTER it ended. Concequently, behind the scenes, he’s working on a peace treaty with Islam that will end American exsanguination in manpower and assets in the region– even if at the expense of Israel and to the gain of Iran. Three times already, Obama said that we will pay-down on the massive bail-out and stimulus debt from our Crusade. The added troops in Afghanistan are only a bargaining chip. When Israel warned Obama that if the US does not stop its shift from the Middle East to South Asia its airforce will have to exterminate the Palestinians like fish in a barrel, Obama added three months to his extraction. But he will take back in flash what he pays out in flesh and Israel will soon see that all the congressmen and Senators it bought itself cannot put back together the Humpy-Dumpty $placenta Israel lived off as a fetus. It will have to be born as a nation, with an economy integrated in the region. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT NETANYAHU INTENDS TO DO. As Sharon’s Finanxce Minister he realized that he coiuldn’t keep his promise to make Israel independent of US aid because Israelis were too used to living on luxiourious welfare. Also, like Iraq, Israel is losing its best and brightest to the West. So, begining with the Palestinians and moving on to the Arabs, he will show them the carrot in integrating with Israel. Only a Nixon-like wild man like him can get away politically with stting politics aside to deal with economics. And guess who is negotiating with Iran on his behalf? Riiiiggghhhttt…Sistani, who also wants an economic solution as the mortar that keeps the national state of Iraq intact, balacing between Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel as do the little cahs-boc Gulf States. All in all, pverty makes for good partners. Lastly, Sistani and Netanyahu have a secret accord negotiated by secret intermediatires: once Israel settles with the Palestiinans, Iraq will be the first country to send students to Israel and vice-versa in exchange programs. Only the illusion of limitless wealth allows the likes of GW Bush to come to power…Only the current poverty allows for the making of such wonderful deals. Sistani ACTUALLY THINKS HE’S GOING TO LIVE TO SEE ALL THIS….Allah Akbar!
