Guns, guns everywhere!
I’d declare these next 10 years ‘the decade of the gun nuts’ here in the U.S. Hot on the heels of the SCOTUS’ judiciously activistic decision to sanction handguns for everyone, the gun nuts are coming out of the woodwork – they’ll be aggressively pushing their agenda ad absurdum. Witness the Witless Governor of Georgia pushing for redneck vigilantes packing heat in the Atlanta airport. Yeah Dumbass, what a great idea – good thing those terrorist cells don’t speak English and can’t read newspapers! They’d never think of storming a security station with handguns and holding travelers hostage and forcing their way on a plane!
The Dumbass also wants people to bring guns into family venues like restaurants. Guess he’s the guy who can’t read or has amnesia – the shoot-n-dine concept was pioneered in Texas.

Picture this:
“Shoot and dine” theme restaurant in Gun Nut territory that offeres deep discounts if you bring your gun. Oh, and the beer and popcorn are free.
The tables are arranged around a media centerpiece made up of 5 or 6 big screens in a side by side, circular arrangement.
Patrons are brought in in “dining groups”, each group getting 2 hours from first beer to culmination.
All through the meal, the “best scenes” from Dirty Harry like films are played, but at the 90 minute mark, the best part of the best clip is interupted by a speech on global warming given by Al Gore.
Culmination consists of 10 minutes of “reaction” followed by a 20 minute cleanup and then we’re ready for the next group.
There you have it: The market based solution to the gun problem…
